A Unique RC Helicopter: Helo TC iDevice Helicopter

I found this unique RC helicopter while surfing the YouTube. This RC helicopter is not controlled by the usual radio set but through an infra-red beam and operated through an i-device or should I say, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
Here are the video about it.
The RC helicopter is just cheap but not that low quality toy.

What We Need To Build Our Own 2 Channel RC Car

It’s not that easy and it’s not that hard to build our own rc car. Let alone it’s just a 2 channel RC car. Regardless how many channel you want to implement, this is still the main things that you need to posses before starting to ensemble and build the rc car.
- Radio transmitter (TX) or simply called as “radio” or “tx”.
- Radio reciever (RX) or simply called as “reciever” or ‘rx”.
- Electric motor or also called “motor”.
- Servo
- Electronic Speed Control or people always called just ESC.
- Battery pack
- Chassis
- Gears
- Axles
- Rims
- Tyres
- Body
However, there’s additional thing that you need to posses as well.
- Battery charger
- Soldering kit
- Screw drivers
- Insulation tape
- Heat shrink tube
- Scissor
- Cutter

Discovering Electronic Speed Control

It’s been a while since I look back on this hobby.
I’ve been very busy with study and work that I don’t even have enough time to sleep. Thank God that at last I have some free time to relax and do something that I like.
So far, I only manage to have only the radio transmission and the radio receiver. On the buying list next would be to get an electronic speed control (ESC).
I am still not sure how to choose or getting the right ESC. But let’s find out later.
I will update soon about it when I have enough knowledge to determine the best type of ESC for this project.
